3D-Authentication setup:

A 3D-Authentication is a security mechanism in the form of a secure URL that confirms if a debit request actually came from your server before it is processed. It prevents unauthorized debits on your Waverlite wallets and is made up of three components, namely: base, hook, and pointer. The following steps will help you to fully set this up.

STEP 1:Create a directory {base} anywhere in your server that can be publicly accessed and name it anything you'd like, eg. waverlite. This is the URL you'll setup on your account at Settings > API & Webhook.

STEP 2:Create a sub-directory {hook} inside the directory you created in STEP 1 and name it after your 3D-Authentication Hook found on your account at Settings > API & Webhook.

STEP 3:Programmatically create a file {pointer} inside the sub-directory {hook} you created in STEP 2 before you initiate a debit request on any of your wallets and name it after the transaction reference you pushed to us (without an extension), and write the transaction reference to the file. You may choose to delete the file once the transaction is successful or you may leave it for record purposes.
